December's Project Cornerstone book title is "Say Something", by Peggy Moss. This month's story encourages avoiding the role of bystander in situations when you see someone is being treated wrong. Cornerstone classrooms will discuss how they can choose to be "UP-standers", and explore ways to help in situations where they may be nervous about stepping up to "say something".

A big THANK YOU for all the gift cards, clothes, bedding, shoes and even toys to all the giving families from Silver Oak and the Evergreen Neighborhood. Our High School Reunion group personally handed out thousands of dollars in gift cards directly to those in need. The misplaced families of Paradise are beyond grateful for all that our wonderful community has done for them in efforts to cope through a horrendous situation, bringing hope that they can somehow rebuild their community at some point. No words can express how Thankful we are.

Some Box Tops expire on December 31, 2018. Please clip them and bring them into school by December 21 before winter vacation.
