Dear Evergreen Families: As you may or may not be aware, an Evergreen Elementary School student was hit by a car at the intersection of Middle Park Road and Delta Road during the morning of Monday, August 27, 2018. The student and his grandmother, who was also hit by the car, were rushed to the hospital in an ambulance with multiple injuries. Due to the extent of their injuries, it was necessary for the student to miss fifteen days of school. Although not completely healed, I am happy to report that the student returned to school on Monday, September 17, 2018. Although I am overjoyed by the news of the return of the student, I am left with one question: "What is it going to take?" To read the rest of the letter, click the headline.
